About Judy

Judy Hampton is a popular speaker who is best known for her entertaining speaking style and communication skills. She is transparent, authentic, extremely humorous, and biblically sound. Her strong relationships energize her humorous illustrations, and her powerful messages have audiences laughing out loud one minute and wiping a tear the next. She is a respected international keynote speaker for women’s conferences and retreats, speaking over thirty weekends a year. She is comfortable with audiences of 6,000 and equally at home with a small group.

Her testimony has aired several times on Focus on the Family radio broadcast, as well as The Billy Graham Association’s ‘Decision Today’ and Moody Radio. She has been on several television programs, including “At Home Live with Chuck and Jenni” and Insight: Television for Women on Family Net Cable. Judy is also part of a Christmas album for Focus on the Family, distributed to Pastors around the world. Judy teaches two sessions on DVD for the CBA Silver Medallion Award winning series: “Doing Life Together” (Rick Warren’s Purpose Driven Group Resources). Among other contributing teachers: Max Lucado, Joseph Stowell, Steve Farrar, John Ortberg, Chip Ingram, Erwin McManus, Bruce Wilkinson and Ann Ortland.

Judy is a free-lance writer with publications in several magazines, including Charles Stanley’s In Touch Magazine, Progress Magazine, Alive Crosswalk, Tapestry (Walk Thru The Bible) and Gospel Roads.  She is a collaborating author to many books, including Chicken Soup for the Christian Woman’s Soul (Rated Top 10 by Publisher’s Weekly), 101 Best Stories Chicken Soup for the Soul, God’s Way for Couples, Soul Matters for Women, Love Letters from the Heart, Kisses of Sunshine for Grandmas and Women (Zondervan 2005) and Setting Boundaries with Your Adult Children (Harvest House 2008) and 30 Ways to Embrace Life (Wise Women Share Their Secrets).

Judy is the author of three full length books; Under the Circumstances (includes Bible study), Ready? Set? Go! How Parents with Prodigals can get on with their Lives and her latest book, When Your Plans Fall Through [God changes our plans to accomplish His Will].

Judy is a member of the Advanced Writers and Speaker’s Association. She is married and she and her husband have two married children and five grandchildren.

My Statement of Faith

Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst. I believe in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

I believe that the Bible is God’s inspired and perfect Word.

I believe that we are saved by the grace of God alone, and that we obtain that grace freely by confessing our sins and surrendering our will to Christ as Savior and Lord of our lives.

I believe that Christ’s gift of salvation assures his followers of eternal life, a life which begins the moment they confess his Name.
